Rev. John Davis
Assistant PriestJohn is a big part of St Gabriel’s assisting with services, preaching and teaching.

Rev. Jonty Forster
CurateJonty leads our schools ministry programme and oversees discipleship. He is also involved in wider leadership of the church.

Rev. Lynne Connolly
CurateLynne co-ordinates our pastoral care ministry and is chaplain to our women’s group. She assists in the taking of services and leadership of the church and is due to be ordained in September 2020.

Angela Rowlands
ReaderAngela has oversight of our Healing Ministry and is a reader which means she is part of the ministry team and conducts services/preaches.

Rebecca Richardson
Schools and Youth WorkerBec has oversight of our Youth Ministry. She’s also Huyton Deanery’s Schools and Youth Worker.

Brenda Hughes
SacristanBrenda is one of our sacristans which means she takes care of our Communion Table/Altar . She is a keen volunteer across a range of ministries including our pre-school cafe on Wednesdays.

Brenda Williams
Child Protection OfficerBrenda is our lead for child protection. If you have any child protection concerns or questions please contact her using the details on our safeguarding page. Brenda’s ministry also includes being a Trustee of The Apple Trust.

Brenda Roscoe
Older Person’s Ministry LeadBrenda is our older person’s champion. She oversees and co-ordinates our lunch club and various other ministries.

Rhona Richardson
Head VergerAs our head verger Rhona oversees the team of vergers and sidespeople (welcomers) along with the sacristans. Rhona is also our DBS (Safeguarding) verifier. Rhona works for The Apple Trust, a ministry of St Gabriel’s supporting children and families.

Ste Richardson
VergerSte is a verger which means he helps keep the church in good order, is around for services and available to assist or answer questions and to ensure everyone is properly welcomed.

Ron Brooks
SacristanRon is one of our sacristans which means he takes care of our Communion Table/Altar. He has particular responsibility for our 9am Traditional Communion Service

Les Suddes
TreasurerLes oversees finance and is a key minister within the life of the church. He leads on stewardship, mission spending and ensuring we have resources for maintenance. In the week Les works as a volunteer for the Citizens’ Advice Bureaux

Tracy Duffy
Ministry Team AdministratorTracy works on a Wednesday and supports the ministry team with their admin. She also produces the weekly sheet and posters/invites for events throughout the year.

Dianne Bargh
Gift Aid SecretaryDi’s role ensures folk are encouraged and able to give tax efficiently where possible to the church. She manages HMRC claims for gift aid.

Keith Pendleton
Church WardenKeith is one of our two church wardens. He works closely with Malcolm to ensure everything runs smoothly, is well planned, safe and closely aligned to the Diocesan Vision of ‘More people knowing Jesus: More Justice in the World’

Suzy Leonard
PCC SecretarySuzy clerks our church council and standing committee meetings and also assists with the production of the Annual Written Report. In the week her ministry is part of The Whitechapel Centre (a charity serving the homeless) in Liverpool. Suzy is also one of our Brownie and Guide Leaders.

Dave Howard
Church WardenDave is one of our two church wardens. He works closely with Malcolm to ensure everything runs smoothly and well planned. Dave has particular responsibility for compliance (Gas, PAT, electrical safety etc)

Elaine Monaghan
Vulnerable Adults’ Co-OrdinatorWorking as part of our safeguarding team and particularly with our pastoral care and older persons’ ministry leads, Elaine ensures our policy to support vulnerable adults is fully embedded and all concerns acted upon swiftly and appropriately. Jane Cardwell
FacilitiesJane keeps the church clean and tidy as well being a co-manager of The Apple Trust – a ministry of St Gabriel’s and outstanding childcare provider. Jane is our ECO-Church champion.

Brian Monaghan
Safe Church Co-OrdinatorBrian acts as a ‘critical friend’ to all those involved with safeguarding in our church. He has extensive and senior professional experience in this area. In addition to his work at St Gabriel’s, Brian is involved in a number of charities in the Warrington area including those supporting the homeless and he sits on the safeguarding panel.

Christine Birkett
Verger and Follow UpChristine works as part of our vergers team and also ensures those who make contact with St Gabriel’s (baptism etc) are followed up with cards. Her ministry also includes being a Trustee of The Apple Trust and volunteering with lunch club.

Dave Bargh
Electoral RollDave maintains our electoral roll which is the official register of adult church members. Dave is also a member of the Parochial Church Council.

Keith Birkett
VergerKeith works as part of our vergers team and supports lunch club. His ministry also includes being a Trustee of The Apple Trust – an outstanding childcare provider.

Marie Cowley
Children’s MinistryMarie co-leads our Sunday morning children’s ministry. Throughout the week Marie’s ministry is helping to lead a Liverpool Children’s Centre.

Julie Davis
Children’s MinistryJulie co-leads our Sunday morning children’s ministry. Throughout the week Julie’s ministry is as a senior project manager with The Salvation Army
